Katherine Pye

Katherine is a research technician with the Ellacott group. She graduated with an MBiolSci in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Sheffield. After spending a bit of time on a conservation project in the Annapurna region of Nepal, Katherine returned to her hometown of Exeter and joined the Beallacotts in January 2019. Her work involves characterising macrophage polarisation, as well as supporting other projects across the group.

Hobbies: Katherine enjoys creative writing, which takes up a lot of her spare time, alongside reading, gaming with friends and the occasional hike.
