Alex is a master’s student researching with the Ellacott group. He graduated with a BSc in Biomedical science from the university of the west of England, in Bristol. Shortly after, he returned to Exeter to study Neuroscience at Exeter university. He is investigating the potential of natural AMPK activators to protect against brain disease.

Hobbies: Alex enjoys swimming and surfing, as well as reading.
